St. Philomena's School Fees 2009-2010
St. Philomena’s School fees are set each year by the Board of Governors.
The School reserves the right to vary fees and extras from time to time and will endeavour to give parents at least a term’s notice of any increases.

Fees currently include tuition, text and exercise books. Included are swimming, sports’ tuition, coach transport to and from Walton Swimming Pool and Frinton Recreation Park, and after school sporting activities. Personal Accident Insurance is included.
Essex Nursery Education funding/grant:
Three and four year olds are eligible for the Essex Nursery Education funding/grant up to and including the term in which they are five.
Optional Extra Subjects:
There are modest charges for musical instrument tuition. These vary depending upon the instrument and length of lesson. Pupils are expected to purchase their own musical instruments. Some instruments are available for hire through visiting Essex Music Services’ Staff.
Extras:
Educational trips involving outside transport and entry fees are payable at cost prior to the visit.
Registration Fee:
A fee of £80 is charged to register each child to ensure a place is available. For siblings, the fee is £40. It is not refundable.
Deposit:
On acceptance of a place £200 is charged which is then offset against the first term’s fee. A further £200 is held in account until such time as the child leaves the school.
Payment of fees:
Fees are payable by the first day of each term. The school offers a part payment arrangement through the auspices of HSBC. Details available from the Bursar.
Discounts:
Parents/guardians with four children or more at the school are eligible for a 25% discount.
