Welcome to St. Philomena's

St. Philomena’s Preparatory School follows the traditions of the Catholic faith and welcomes children from all backgrounds. Once inside the school, you will immediately be aware of the warm, family atmosphere. The school buzzes with enthusiasm and purposeful activity. Even the youngest pupils feel part of this friendly community right away. Pupils enjoy an excellent reputation for their standards of behaviour and good manners.
The extra-curricular life of the school is exceptional with a wide range of clubs and activities. Achievements in sport and in the performing arts are outstanding. In 2006, the school choir was runner-up in the BBC Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year Competition.“Choosing a school for a child is one of the most important decisions for a parent. At St. Philomena’s, we feel we give our pupils a very distinctive start to life.”  - Mrs. B. Buck, Headmistress.
“Throughout the school, the pupils demonstrate outstandingly well-developed spiritual, moral, social and cultural awareness. The school’s values pervade the whole of its work.” – ISI inspection report October 2006.
